Professional Experience

Mr. Watson has been licensed to practice Land Surveying in New York State since 1972 and in Connecticut since 1975. He has been involved in the field of surveying since 1960. He has an intimate knowledge of the planning and approval process.

Mr. Watson is a member of the Westchester-Putnam Association of Professional Land Surveyors, Inc., in which he served as President; and the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors, Inc., in which he served as President, Director and is currently a Trustee. He is also a member of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers, Inc., Westchester Chapter and the American Congress on Surveying & Mapping.

Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Watson had related professional experience during his military service as an instructor of topographic computing at the Army Engineer School.

Community Involvement

Mr. Watson has served as a Director of the United Way of Putnam. He has served on the Planning Board of the Village of Cold Spring. He is a member of the Putnam County Historical Society. He is currently a Director of Hudson Highlands Land Trust.
